About Elizabeth Helgelien
Elizabeth Helgelien stands as a symbol of dedication and resilience in Southern Nevada. As a mother, wife, and business owner, her commitment to her community is deep and unwavering.
Like many Nevadans, Elizabeth moved to Nevada almost two decades ago to seek the unique opportunities the Silver State provides.
Inspired by conservative leaders, Elizabeth entered politics with a remarkable victory over a seasoned two-term incumbent State Senator, making her the youngest female state senator in Nevada’s history. During her tenure in the Nevada State Senate, Elizabeth served on the Commerce, Labor, and Energy Committee, Revenue Committee, and Transportation Committee.
Despite overwhelming left-wing attacks, Elizabeth’s dedication to conservative principles is evident. According to the American Conservative Union, she maintained a flawless 100% conservative voting record. Leading a group of conservatives, reminiscent of the Freedom Caucus, she was a formidable voice against tax hikes and an advocate for limited government. According to a survey of legislators, liberal reporters, and lobbyists, Elizabeth was ranked the “worst Senator,” a title that Elizabeth Helgelien holds with honor; Elizabeth will never apologize for putting the people of Nevada ahead of liberal special interests. That same year, Citizens Outreach awarded her as “Conservative of the Year.”
Elizabeth Helgelien has a history of serving her community since a young age. She received three Presidential Student Service awards from the President of the United States while in high school for her service. She continues to give back to her community and veterans. Elizabeth Helgelien has even been inducted as an honorary member of the Armed Forces NCO Corp for her exceptional merits service as real estate professionals in support of veteran home ownership.
After her tenure in politics, Elizabeth transitioned to the business world, where she found significant success. Elizabeth graced the pages of Maxim Magazine as a write-in for Maxim’s “Hot 100”, a list that included actresses Maggie Q and Allison Brie, model Adrianne Curry, and singer Avril Lavigne.
Alongside her husband, Tiger, she made notable contributions to the real estate sector in Southern Nevada. Elizabeth is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® and the Greater Las Vegas Association of REALTORS®. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Corban University in Salem, OR, and is a lifetime member of Psi Chi, the International honor society in psychology.
Having left a mark in both politics and business, Elizabeth is now stepping back into the political arena, driven by a mission to finish the job she started. With her deep roots in Southern Nevada, her proven track record, and a vision for a brighter future, Elizabeth Helgelien continues to be a beacon of hope and leadership for the people of Nevada.
“We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth.”
